HRIS/HCM Implementation Specialist

AlphaGov (Casa Moon LLC d/b/a AlphaGov) delivers public-sector consulting for cities, counties, school systems, special districts, utilities, and related agencies. This opportunity is contingent upon contract award and final staffing approval. Permission will be requested before including a candidate's name or resume in a proposal.

AlphaGov is seeking an HRIS/HCM Implementation Specialist to support municipal human-resources information system selection, configuration, data migration, and go-live readiness for a city/county HR modernization pursuit.

What you'll do:

• Lead or support HRIS/HCM implementation workstreams (requirements, configuration, data conversion, testing, cutover)
• Map HR processes (core HR, benefits, timekeeping, payroll integration) to system capabilities
• Coordinate stakeholders across HR, IT, finance, and vendor teams
• Produce implementation plans, test scripts, training materials, and go-live checklists
• Contribute HRIS/HCM qualifications and past-performance narrative to AlphaGov proposals when permissioned

Requirements

Required:

• Hands-on HRIS or HCM implementation experience (Workday, Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, UKG/Ultimate, Dayforce, or comparable)
• Public-sector or complex multi-department HR systems background
• Comfortable as a 1099 / project-based collaborator with travel as needed for client on-sites

Nice to have:

• Municipal or county HRIS modernization leadership
• Payroll / timekeeping integration experience
• Change-management or end-user training delivery for HR systems
