$ what we collect and your rights
Jobverse is operated by Yapza OÜ (Estonia), the data controller. This page explains what personal data we handle and why. You can use search, matching, and browsing without an account.
What we collect
If you create an account we store your email address, used only to sign you in and to send the alerts you ask for. When you save a CV, we store a numerical representation (an embedding) of it plus the file name, so we can rank jobs for you. We do not store the text of your CV. We also store the monitors and searches you save. A CV you upload without an account is processed to return matches and is not retained.
How we use it
To provide the service: to match your CV to jobs, to keep your monitors up to date, and to email you sign-in codes and the match digests you enable. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Cookies and analytics
We set one essential cookie to keep you signed in. For usage statistics we use a self-hosted, privacy-first analytics tool that does not use tracking cookies and does not build cross-site profiles.
Who processes it
Hosting and the database are provided by Hetzner in Germany. Transactional email is delivered by Resend. These providers process data only to run the service on our behalf.
Job listings
The jobs shown are public postings gathered from employers' career sites and applicant tracking systems. We link to the original posting for applications.
Where it lives and how long
Your data is stored within the EU. We keep account data while your account exists. Deleting your account from your profile permanently removes your email, saved CV, monitors, and sessions.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can access, correct, export, or delete your data, and object to processing. You can delete everything yourself from your profile, or contact us at privacy@jobverse.me.
