Experience: 12+ years, including 8+ years on banking regulatory reporting.
Must-have skills
Banking and domain
- MAS regulatory returns, including MAS 610/1003, MAS 637 (capital), MAS 649 (LCR) and MAS 651 (NSFR).
- Capital (RWA, Basel III/IV) and liquidity reporting; finance data, GL and sub-ledger reconciliation.
- BCBS 239 data governance: data ownership, lineage and quality controls.
- AML regulatory reporting and regulator inspection packs.
- Finance Data Platform, Regulatory Reporting (MAS, PRA, HKMA), Capital Reporting (RWA), Liquidity Reporting (LCR, NSFR, CFMR),
Business and data analysis
- Attribute-level mapping from source systems to regulatory returns.
- Rationalising derived measures: definition, formula, grain, owner, lineage and reconciliation rule.
- Business glossary and data dictionary management.
- SQL for data profiling and reconciliation.
Delivery and communication
- Leading reconciliation testing in SIT and UAT.
- Explaining data lineage and controls to auditors and regulators.
Good-to-have skills
- PRA or HKMA regulatory returns.
- Regulatory reporting tools such as AxiomSL, Moody’s or Wolters Kluwer OneSumX.
- Defining KPI standards for BI platforms.
Certifications (preferred): CBAP; DAMA CDMP; FRM or CA/CPA.
