Junior Electronics Engineer

How will you contribute to IENAI SPACE?

• Circuit and PCB design: design electronic circuits and multilayer PCBs in Altium Designer.
• Sensor and driver integration: integrate and test different types of sensors and electronic drivers.
• Prototype bring-up: bring up new PCB prototypes and verify their functionality.
• Lab work: use oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, logic analyzers and other laboratory equipment to investigate hardware behaviour.
• Debugging: troubleshoot problems at board, component, interface and system level.
• Hardware/firmware integration: collaborate closely with firmware engineers during integration and debugging.
• Hands-on assembly: perform basic soldering and PCB rework when needed.

What is your department like? You will be part of our Electrical Engineering and Electronics team , which is part of our Electric Propulsion department. This team is in charge of designing, testing, manufacturing and has the mission of continuous improvement of the electronic devices that enable thruster operation. What will make you succeed? We are looking for (must have):

• Ideally 1–2 years of hands-on experience in electronics development.
• Good foundation in digital electronics and embedded hardware.
• Practical experience with common digital interfaces: I²C, SPI, JTAG and ICSP.
• Experience working with sensors.
• Experience with multilayer PCB design and routing in Altium Designer.
• Comfortable working in an electronics lab with standard test and measurement equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, logic analyzers, etc.).
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills, with a systematic approach to investigating hardware problems.
• Hands-on, practical mindset, able to move between schematic/PCB design, lab testing and hardware debugging.
• Spoken and written professional proficiency in English.

We also value (nice to have):

• Soldering, rework and basic PCB assembly skills.
