Senior Engineering Professional

Hire Resolve is partnering with established and growing organisations across the Netherlands to recruit experienced mid-senior to senior-level engineering professionals . These opportunities are ideal for engineers with strong technical expertise, proven project delivery experience, and the ability to operate effectively within regulated, innovation-driven environments.

This role is designed to encapsulate multiple engineering disciplines and may suit professionals with backgrounds in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, Industrial, Process, Manufacturing, or Project Engineering , across sectors such as manufacturing, infrastructure, energy, utilities, logistics, and high-tech industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead or contribute to engineering projects from concept, design, and development through to implementation and handover
• Apply advanced engineering principles to solve complex technical and operational challenges
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including project managers, operations, consultants, and external stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with Dutch regulations, European standards, and health & safety requirements
• Review and approve engineering drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical documentation
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and reliability
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to junior engineers and technical staff
• Support project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management activities
• Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and regulatory authorities as required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, Industrial, or a related discipline)
• 7–15+ years of relevant engineering experience , depending on discipline and role scope
• Proven experience working on complex engineering projects within industrial, manufacturing, infrastructure, energy, or technology environments
• Strong technical knowledge within your engineering discipline
• Familiarity with Dutch legislation, European standards (EN), and industry regulations
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication skills in English (Dutch language skills are advantageous)
• Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams
• Chartered or professionally registered engineer status is advantageous (role-dependent)
• Proficiency with relevant engineering software, tools, and systems
