Project Engineer

About the role Join Strohm as Our Next Project Engineer! Are you ready to take on complex offshore challenges and deliver cutting-edge  Thermoplastic Composite Pipe (TCP)  solutions? As a  Project Engineer , you’ll be at the heart of project execution — balancing performance, risks, and costs while making sure every solution is fit-for-purpose. From design to offshore deployment, your expertise will make a real impact. In this role, you will:

• Lead and support engineering activities, delivering projects on time and within budget;
• Review client specifications and translate them into clear project requirements;
• Design of TCP End fittings by performing of material assessment, review of steel components manufacturing and general arrangement drawings, etc.;
• Technical contract management of suppliers of TCP main ancillaries transport equipment;
• Coordinate with procurement, testing, field service, and other teams to ensure smooth delivery;
• Prepare manuals, handling guides, and FAT procedures and reports;
• Provide offshore support during installation and deployment when required.

What you bring:

• Degree in Mechanical, Marine, Offshore, or Subsea Engineering (or equivalent);
• 5+ years’ experience in offshore energy or oil & gas, with strong project engineering skills;
• Solid knowledge of offshore standards (DNV, API, ISO, NORSOK);
• Hands-on experience in offshore engineering and installation methods; Orcaflex knowledge is a plus;
• Skilled in subcontract management and coordination of ancillary equipment;
• Familiar with offshore markets such as subsea well intervention, pre-commissioning, and SURF;
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a bonus;
• Offshore-ready mindset — willing to travel when needed.
