AI Engineer

As we grow our Data & AI practice in Finland, we are looking for AI Engineers to strengthen our technical capabilities and help deliver innovative solutions for our clients. Building on our successful project delivery, we are expanding our team and welcome applications from both early-career and experienced professionals.

You will join a global Data, Analytics & AI community helping leading organizations turn data into business value through data strategy, engineering, advanced analytics, AI, and intelligent automation.

About the role:

You thrive at the intersection of software engineering, business, and AI. You enjoy building modern applications and turning emerging technologies into production-ready solutions that create business value. You are equally comfortable understanding client needs and translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

In this role, you will, for example:

• Build, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications, AI agents, and cloud-native solutions
• Design scalable architectures and integrate applications across frontend, backend, cloud, and enterprise environments
• Develop intelligent software solutions leveraging LLMs, RAG, MCP, and agentic AI capabilities
• Work directly with clients to understand business challenges and translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Identify and help shape opportunities where AI can create measurable business value for clients
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver end-to-end solutions from concept to production
• Present technical solutions and recommendations to both technical and business stakeholders

The exact focus and responsibilities of the role will be tailored to your experience level and interests.

We are looking for:

• Background in software engineering through professional experience, studies, and/or personal projects, with experience or a strong interest in building software solutions
• Experience in working across frontend, backend, and cloud environments
• Experience in designing, integrating, and consuming APIs
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS) and infrastructure-as-code concepts
• Exposure to Generative AI, LLM-based applications, or related AI technologies
• Curiosity and a desire to continuously learn and experiment
• Fluent communication skills in English (written and spoken), preferably also in Finnish and/or Swedish

Nice-to-have qualifications include:

• Hands-on experience with LLMs, reasoning models, AI agents, RAG, and agent orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph
• Experience in building reliable AI agent workflows, including tool use, function calling, validation, and human-in-the-loop processes
• Understanding of AI evaluation, observability, monitoring, and tracing
• Knowledge of AI governance, security, guardrails, and responsible AI practices
• Experience working with clients and stakeholders, ideally in a consulting environment
