Senior Associate | Corporate Law & Commercial Practice Group

We are currently seeking to recruit a motivated and hands-on Senior Associate lawyer to join our dynamic Corporate Law & Commercial Group.

Job description

As a member of our Corporate Law & Compliance Group , you will play a key role in advising clients on the full range of aspects of corporate, contractual and commercial law.

Your responsibilities will include managing complex client matters, taking ownership of workstreams and coordinating project teams in close collaboration with partners. An important part of the role will be mentoring junior team members, providing day-to-day guidance and supporting their professional development.

You will make a significant contribution to corporate restructurings and transactions (M&A), corporate financing and the establishment & operation of legal entities. Your advisory work will extend to civil and commercial contract matters, contracts, as well as consumer and market regulation at both wholesale and retail levels.

Beyond client work, you will contribute to business development initiatives and play an active part in the continued growth of the practice.

Requirements

• Greek University degree in Law
• Postgraduate degree (LLM or equivalent)
• Legal qualification to work as an attorney at law in Greece
• 6-8 years post-trainee professional experience in civil/commercial advisory and/or M&A services, preferably within a law firm, will be appreciated
• Strong educational background in civil/corporate/commercial law will be highly rated
• Native Greek speaker and excellent command of the English language (working languages Greek & English)
• Excellent level of computer literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
