Construction Manager (OMPP / Pipelines)
A leading onshore contractor to Saudi Aramco in the Eastern Province is hiring a Construction Manager for its Onshore Maintain Potential Program (OMPP) portfolio — pipelines and associated facilities across multiple concurrent desert worksites in the region.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the full logistical execution of OMPP construction scopes across multiple simultaneous worksites.
- Direct construction of cross-country pipelines — flowlines, trunk lines, and well tie-ins — with associated above-ground facilities, scraper traps, and cathodic protection.
- Set targets, allocate responsibilities, and manage supervisors, foremen, and subcontractor field teams.
- Conduct site walkdowns; inspect works, materials, and HSE compliance; report progress to project management and client.
- Review schedules, budgets, labour, and risk regularly; keep the works on track against the project baseline.
- Manage contractual obligations at the field level and mitigate the impact of change, delay, or scope issues.
- Ensure delivery of high-quality work in accordance with Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards (SAES/SATIP) and Schedule Q.
Requirements
- 10+ years of solid experience as a Construction Manager in oil and gas / petrochemical projects, with cross-country pipeline delivery a must.
- Demonstrable OMPP (Onshore Maintain Potential Program) construction experience with Saudi Aramco.
- Middle East experience essential; Gulf experience a strong advantage.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Civil / Electrical considered).
- PMP / CCM / CPM training and licensed engineer status preferred.
- Fluent in Arabic and English.
- Dynamic leader, strong communicator, and able to motivate multicultural field teams.
