Internal Sales Team Leader - Metals

What you will be responsible for:

• Providing leadership, guidance, and mentoring a small internal sales team and at the same time supporting the external sales team.
• Demonstrating commercial acumen in developing and coaching the internal sales team.
• Reporting to the Site Leader, you will support and execute effective sales strategies to drive sustainable growth.
• Support and develop talent within the current team, whilst nurturing the growth and development of each individual.
• Establish, track, and manage KPIs to enhance team performance.
• Lead the internal sales function in executing trading skills to deliver market-leading customer service.
• Building competency across multiple business divisions, including product, markets and customer segments
• Optimise internal processes to boost operational efficiency and improve the customer experience.
• Work collaboratively across the wider business to align with broader Vulcan objectives.
• Ability to leverage data to develop reports on sales activities, customer interactions, and team performance.

Requirements

• Demonstrated success in a sales and/or customer service leadership role.
• Proven ability to define KPIs, coach team members, and foster motivation.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous process enhancement.
