Sample Management Expert

We are looking for a Sample Management Expert (m/f/d) to join our Quality Control team. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient management and coordination of samples, stability activities, and related documentation within a GMP-regulated environment. You will work closely with internal departments, clients, and external testing laboratories.

Your Responsibilities

Sample Management

  • Manage and coordinate incoming client and OMCL samples , including testing schedules, documentation, and communication with relevant stakeholders
  • Manage in-house stability samples , including maintaining documented overviews and coordinating internal and external testing schedules
  • Oversee reference and retention samples , including maintaining documented inventories and coordinating and documenting visual examinations
  • Coordinate activities with external testing laboratories , including timelines, agreements, and required documentation
  • Prepare, review, and maintain GxP-relevant documentation in accordance with GMP requirements
  • Ensure accurate and timely sample tracking and documentation throughout the sample lifecycle
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of sample management processes and workflows

Laboratory Support

  • Support the Lab Support Team with equipment-related activities as required, including the generation and maintenance of overviews for storage space
  • Support equipment qualification and lifecycle management activities
  • Provide support and back-up during annual shutdown activities
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth and compliant laboratory operations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant scientific field
  • Basic knowledge of quality systems and GxP requirements , particularly GMP and GCLP
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Strong organizational, documentation management, and teamwork skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and a structured approach to managing documentation and data
  • Proactive, accurate, and reliable working style with a strong sense of responsibility
  • Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Fluent in German and English , both written and spoken
  • Willingness to work in a regulated, quality-driven environment

Minimum Annual Salary: EUR 40,000 gross per year. The actual salary offered will be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications, professional experience, and skills, with a willingness to overpay the applicable minimum salary. Join us and shape the future of biotechnology!
