OR ORTHOPEDIC SERVICE LINE COORDINATOR

The primary purpose of the OR Orthopedic Service Line Coordinator (Coordinator) is ensuring the delivery of quality patient care for orthopedic surgical patients ranging from neonate through adulthood. The Coordinator role assures accurate preparation of each orthopedic surgical case, coordinates instrument and implant needs, updates preference cards, meets with orthopedic surgeons to assure preference cards are correct. Actively participates in the orientation and training of surgical scrub technologist and Registered Nurses new to the operating room.
