We are looking for Splunk ITSI Developer with 4-6 years of experience.

Must Have:

Strong experience in implementing service monitoring for complex systems using Splunk ITSI with at least 1 year experience

  • Proven experience as a Splunk Administrator (5+ Years) with a focus on ITSI.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong understanding of Splunk architecture, data ingestion, and indexing.
  • Experience with IT Service Intelligence (ITSI) modules, including creating and managing service models, KPIs, and glass tables.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and integration tasks.
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure and operations, including servers, networks, and applications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Splunk Certified Admin or Splunk Certified ITSI Specialist certification.
  • Experience in a large enterprise environment. - Familiarity with Helix or other IT service management frameworks.

Responsibilities:

Administer and maintain the Splunk ITSI environment, including configuration, tuning, and upgrades.

  • Develop and implement ITSI service models, KPIs, and glass tables to monitor the health of key IT services.
  • Migrate existing dashboard and alerting monitoring capabilities in Enterprise Splunk to ITSI
  • Collaborate with IT teams to design and implement dashboards, alerts, and reports that provide real-time insights into service performance and availability.
  • Enable auto-ticketing into helix ticketing platform using NEAP
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Splunk ITSI and associated integrations.
  • Implement best practices for data ingestion, indexing, and storage to ensure optimal performance.
  • Monitor system performance, capacity, and security, and take proactive measures to address potential issues.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on how to effectively use Splunk ITSI.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Splunk features and best practices and recommend improvements to our Splunk environment.
