Total Group of Companies is expanding and is seeking a Journeyman Sprinkler Fitter to join our established Fire Services division.

This role goes beyond standard service work — offering the opportunity to work on diverse commercial and industrial fire protection systems while contributing to the growth of our sprinkler division.

The ideal candidate is a fully certified sprinkler fitter who takes pride in their trade, enjoys problem-solving in the field, and is interested in growing into a leadership role over time.

Relocation Support Available

📦 A relocation package may be offered for the right candidate. We recognize that the best talent isn’t always local and are open to supporting the right individual in relocating to Red Deer, Alberta.

What You’ll Be Doing

Reporting to the Sr. Fire Systems Specialist, you will:

• Inspect, service, and troubleshoot fire sprinkler systems
• Install, modify, and repair sprinkler piping and components
• Perform system upgrades, retrofits, and additions
• Inspect and service fire pumps and hydrant systems
• Respond to scheduled and emergency service calls
• Identify and recommend fire code compliance solutions
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Prepare detailed inspection, testing, and deficiency reports
• Maintain company tools, equipment, and service vehicles
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with applicable codes and standards
• Support other Fire & Safety divisions as required
• Maintain professional client relationships on-site
