About the role

This is one of the hardest, most important problems in security right now, as companies adopt AI faster than they can protect the data behind it. You'll own features end to end on the core of the platform, alongside a talented group of engineers who are invested in your growth, owning real work on the systems customers trust with their most sensitive data. Great security doesn't slow a company down, it makes moving fast safe. That's what you'll build.

What you'll do

• Build customer-facing features across the stack, from backend services to the interface security teams rely on every day
• Debug live production systems and solve problems that only exist at petabyte scale, early in your career
• Turn ambiguous problems into shipped features that keep sensitive data safe, with real say in what gets built
• Take on the hardest problems in data security, alongside engineers with deep expertise in distributed systems, ML, and scale
• Own what you ship end to end, from design decisions to protecting real customer data at companies like Polymarket and The Atlantic

About you

• 0-2 years of professional experience, or a strong internship and project record
• Working proficiency in Go, Python, or a comparable back-end language
• Familiarity with databases, data modeling, and schema design
• You use AI tools to move faster, and you want to get better at using them well
• Frontend experience a plus
• Must be based in NYC and able to work from our Financial District office 3 days a week
