We are looking for an organized, highly communicative, and proactive Dental Treatment Planner & Patient Coordinator to support two busy providers in a thriving dental practice. In this role, you will be responsible for taking prospective and existing patients through their recommended treatment journeys, presenting care plans, and keeping the providers' schedules full and efficient.

This is a fast-paced role that requires strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to explain treatment options clearly and comfortably. There are no insurance verification or claims responsibilities in this position. The ideal candidate has direct experience working with Dentrix , excels at patient scheduling, and possesses strong closing skills to help patients move forward with their dental care.

What You'll Do

  • Treatment Planning & Presentation: Create, present, and explain comprehensive dental treatment plans to patients for both providers, detailing procedures, appointment timelines, and financial expectations.
  • High-Volume Call Handling: Manage heavy inbound and outbound phone calls, answering patient inquiries, following up on proposed treatment plans, and re-engaging unscheduled treatment leads.
  • Calendar & Appointment Management: Schedule, confirm, and coordinate complex appointments across two providers' calendars to maximize daily clinic efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Patient Intake & Engagement: Guide patients through initial consultations and follow-up care with a warm, professional, and persuasive tone.
  • Daily Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate patient notes, track treatment plan acceptances, and keep patient records updated within Dentrix and Google Workspace .

Requirements

  • Dentrix Experience Required: Hands-on experience navigating and managing patient records, charting, and scheduling in Dentrix.
  • High-Volume Phone Comfort: Proven background managing heavy call volumes while maintaining an upbeat, compassionate, and professional demeanor.
  • Bilingual Capability: Fluency in English and Spanish is required (client is open to reviewing both fully bilingual and native English-speaking candidates).
  • Treatment Coordination Skills: Strong understanding of dental terminology and treatment sequencing with the ability to explain procedures clearly to patients.
  • Schedule & Availability: Available full-time to work Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST .
  • Remote Setup: A dedicated home office with a reliable high-speed internet connection, power/internet backup, and a quiet working environment.
