Purchasing Assistant

The Purchasing Assistant supports the back-office commercial and supply-chain activities associated with coil and galvanized sheet used by the company's deck manufacturing operations. This position is responsible for entering and maintaining purchase orders, coordinating material movement, monitoring inventory and open orders, supporting imported material receipts, and maintaining coil-allocation data for transactional and project business. The position works closely with traders, vendors, outside processors, manufacturing locations, warehouse teams, traffic, receiving, and Accounts Payable to help ensure the correct material is available at the required location and time.
