Technician, Materials Management

Job Overview The Technician, Materials Management performs general materials management functions in support of Southern Star Central Gas Pipeline's work sites. The Technician I position handles basic assignments while receiving direction from the supervisor and teammates. This includes receiving, inspection, storage, handling, shipping, expediting, and preparing of products for delivery while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly manner. This position communicates daily with Southern Star office personnel, field personnel, and external suppliers to resolve material related deficiencies and ensure customer satisfaction. This position uses financial systems and maintain electronic and paper files and records.
