Operation Manager Malaysia

We are seeking an experienced Operation Manager for our client's in Malaysia . This role will be instrumental in overseeing their operational activities ensuring that all operations are conducted efficiently, safely, and in compliance with local regulations. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing resources, budgets, and personnel, while fostering strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily marine operations in Malaysia, ensuring effective and efficient service delivery.
• Oversee the planning and execution of marine projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with all local and international maritime regulations and best practices.
• Lead and develop a team of operational staff to maximize performance and engagement.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and regulatory bodies.
• Implement best operational practices to enhance efficiency and safety.
• Prepare reports and presentations for management regarding operational performance and issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in marine operations or management roles.
• Strong knowledge of maritime regulations and standards specific to Malaysia.
• Proven leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and make decisions quickly.
• Fluency in English and Malay; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
