Industrial Hygiene Technician

We are seeking an Industrial Hygiene Coordinator to provide coordination support for day-to-day industrial hygiene activities in alignment with the Occupational Health & Hygiene (OHH) Program. The role ensures compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations while supporting the achievement of health and safety objectives.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Actively assist in the management, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Occupational Health & Hygiene (OHH) Program in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
• Diligently conduct compliance checks aligned with the Rosebel Industrial Hygiene Significant Risk Standard and Corporate IHSS Element 6 – Health & Industrial Hygiene requirements.
• Proactively coordinate and follow up on corrective actions and recommendations arising from audits, inspections, and technical reviews to ensure timely closure.
• Systematically support the Respiratory Protection Program by conducting fit testing, training workers on proper PPE use, and ensuring correct selection, issuance, and maintenance of respiratory equipment.
• Consistently coordinate health fitness and surveillance activities, including medical assessments, exposure-related monitoring, and communicating physician-guided findings and recommendations to workers.
