About the Role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Marketplace Data Specialist to manage and maintain product data and listings across major online marketplaces, including Wayfair, eBay, Walmart, Lowe’s, and Home Depot .
In this role, you’ll ensure product and catalog data is accurate, complete, and aligned with each marketplace’s requirements. You’ll work extensively with large product/data files, marketplace portals, and internal systems to maintain catalog accuracy, resolve listing issues, and support marketplace operations.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys detail-heavy work, is highly proficient in Excel, and has hands-on experience working with marketplace portals and large product catalogs.
What You’ll Do
• Create, upload, and maintain product listings across Wayfair, eBay, Walmart, Lowe’s, and Home Depot marketplace portals
• Enter and update product data, including titles, descriptions, images, attributes, pricing, and inventory
• Work with large product catalogs and bulk data files, including CSV and XLSX templates
• Perform bulk uploads and updates while maintaining a high level of data accuracy
• Monitor listings for errors, suppressions, policy violations, content issues, or data mismatches and resolve them promptly
• Ensure product content meets each marketplace’s specific formatting, category, data, and compliance requirements
• Reconcile inventory, pricing, and order data between internal systems and marketplace platforms
• Track and troubleshoot listing and catalog issues, including content errors, inventory sync issues, and other marketplace-related problems
• Coordinate with merchandising, fulfillment, customer service, and other internal teams to keep marketplace data aligned with source systems
• Generate and maintain reports related to listing status, catalog health, data accuracy, and marketplace performance
• Stay current on marketplace portal, policy, and data requirement updates
• Support marketplace data projects and other catalog-related initiatives as needed
What We’re Looking For
• 2+ years of experience in data entry, e-commerce operations, marketplace operations, or catalog management
• Direct experience with at least one of the following marketplace/vendor portals is strongly preferred:
• Lowe’s Vendor Gateway
• Home Depot Supplier Portal
• Rithum Order Streaming
• Wayfair Partner Home
• Walmart Seller/Supplier Center
• eBay
• Candidates without direct experience in the marketplaces above may still be considered if they have strong marketplace, catalog, and product data experience and can learn new platforms quickly
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets is required , including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data manipulation, and bulk file uploads
• Demonstrated experience working with large product catalogs and large-scale data projects
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to data accuracy
• Comfortable working with bulk data files, marketplace templates, and platform-specific data requirements
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple marketplaces, projects, and deadlines simultaneously
• Clear written communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and marketplace support
Nice to Have
• Experience with multiple marketplace platforms or vendor portals
• Experience with Lowe’s Vendor Gateway, Home Depot Supplier Portal, Rithum Order Streaming, or Wayfair Partner Home
• Experience with PIM or catalog management systems
• Experience with NetSuite
• Familiarity with marketplace APIs or EDI processes
• Basic knowledge of SEO best practices for product listings
• Experience troubleshooting buy box, content compliance, inventory synchronization, or marketplace data issues
