THE ROLE

As Production Manager, you will own the full production lifecycle — from master scheduling across our CNC machines, L-PBF 3D printers, and support equipment, to day-to-day execution of all released work orders. You will translate cross-functional priorities into capacity-aligned schedules, drive performance against meaningful metrics, and lead a team that executes with independence and pride.

This is not a reactive, expedite-driven role. You will build schedules that look two weeks out and two years out. You will use data from ProShop ERP/MES to identify bottlenecks before they become crises. You will coach operators to own quality at the point of manufacture — and you will develop the next generation of production leaders alongside you.

WHAT YOU'LL LEAD

  • Master Scheduling & Capacity. You own the schedule — short-term through long-term — for all production resources and labor. You build capacity models during ramp-up and keep delivery commitments intact.
  • Production Execution. You set daily, weekly, and monthly priorities and monitor real-time performance to resolve disruptions before they compound. Flow and predictability are the standard.
  • People & Culture. You lead, coach, and develop all production personnel. You establish clear expectations, drive engagement, and build a team that holds itself accountable — because that's what a great team does.
  • Data & Continuous Improvement. You track On-Time Delivery, OEE, labor efficiency, scrap and rework, and quality. You turn data into decisions and decisions into measurable gains.
  • Quality & Compliance. You enforce AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards at the operator level — because quality is owned on the floor, not caught at the end.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • You are a recognized subject matter expert in manufacturing execution and capacity scheduling. You have led production teams in high-mix, technically complex environments — ideally including CNC machining or additive manufacturing.
  • You have operated within a formal quality management system.
  • You know your way around an ERP/MES platform and you use data the way it's meant to be used: to drive action.
  • Relevant experience: High School Diploma + 14 years; Associate degree + 12 years; bachelor's in engineering or related field + 7 years; Master's + 5 years.
  • At least 3 years of direct people management experience.
