Recruitment Resourcer / 180 Recruiter

Salary: R29 000 – R32 000 per month, plus commission on placements

A boutique UK recruitment consultancy is hiring a Recruitment Resourcer to own its entire candidate pipeline. Fully remote from South Africa, UK hours.

This is a phone job. The founder is not looking for someone who sends InMails and waits. He wants someone who picks up the phone, builds a real conversation with a stranger, and can hold that conversation with a junior sales rep in the morning and a hiring director in the afternoon. If you have ever worked a dialler and enjoyed it, say so in your application.

The role

You work directly alongside the founder, a recruiter with fifteen years in the industry who has run this exact model before and billed half a million pounds a year doing it. He keeps the clients. You own the candidates: finding them, qualifying them, and handing across the ones worth presenting.

Three to five live vacancies at a time, recruiting UK field sales professionals into FMCG, food service, finance and property. Roles start at £35 000 to £40 000, so these are serious candidates who expect a serious conversation. LinkedIn is where you find them. The phone is where you win them.

What you will do

• Call candidates at volume, every day, and qualify them properly rather than taking the CV at face value
• Source and headhunt on LinkedIn, with targeted searches and personalised outreach
• Run screening calls against detailed vacancy briefs on UK B2B sales roles
• Write clear, well-structured shortlists the founder can take straight to a client
• Keep candidates warm and informed from first contact through to offer
• Coordinate interviews and keep the pipeline and admin accurate
• Take on elements of client liaison as you earn it

How it works

Remote Recruitment places South African professionals with UK businesses. You are engaged as an independent contractor through Remote Recruitment and paid monthly in rand. Work Composer, a productivity monitoring tool, is installed on your work device as standard across all our placements. Process is a short screening interview with us, then an interview with the client, with a short recruitment task in between.

Requirements

What you will need

Two to three years of hands-on recruitment or resourcing, agency or in-house

Experience recruiting into the UK market, and familiarity with how UK candidates and employers work

Confident LinkedIn sourcing, whether on LinkedIn Recruiter or standard search

Clear spoken and written English that lands well with a UK candidate on a call

A reliable connection, a decent headset and a home setup you can make calls from

Nice to have

Sales recruitment, particularly field-based sales

Exposure to FMCG, food service, finance or property

Experience working alongside a senior recruiter in a small consultancy

R29 000 to R32 000 per month, plus commission on placements

Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours, roughly 08:00 to 16:30 SA time
