The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Build a new outbound prospecting function by contacting senior executives across finance and related functions, qualifying interest and arranging meetings for a senior sales lead. The role suits someone with a few years of business development experience who enjoys high-volume outreach and measuring results.

What you'll do

• Make high-volume outbound calls and send tailored emails to senior executives in finance, operations and portfolio management.
• Research and qualify prospects so that only the most promising opportunities advance.
• Set up qualified calls, keep track of every open conversation, and make sure contact data in the sales system stays current.
• Analyze outreach data to track performance and refine targeting and conversion with company leadership.
• Coordinate with the marketing group so that pitch language stays consistent and changes as prospects respond.

Requirements

What we're looking for

• One to three years of business development experience as a BDR or SDR, ideally in enterprise sales at a software company.
• Comfort with CRM systems and sales engagement tools.
• Based in New York, NY, so no relocation is needed.

Bonus points

• Experience in financial technology or a niche vertical sales environment.
• Background in credit operations, fintech, or software adoption within business-to-business finance organizations.
