Senior Hardware Integration Technician
About the team The Sensing Engineering team at Q-CTRL transforms quantum research into deployable technologies that address real-world problems. We design, build, and field-validate an array of quantum sensors that support our key products, including Ironestone Opal - our solution for GPS-denied navigation.
You don’t need a background in quantum to make an impact here. We value strong engineering fundamentals, a product mindset, and a drive to solve the hardest engineering problems in quantum sensing today.
About the role At Q-CTRL, we’re developing advanced navigation and quantum sensing technologies designed to operate in real-world environments. We’re looking for a Senior Hardware Integration Technician to play a hands-on role in bringing these systems to life across UAS and other test platforms. You’ll work closely with hardware, systems, and software engineers across the US and globally to assemble and integrate sensing and navigation systems, fabricate wiring and harnesses, install sensors and computing hardware, perform system checkout, troubleshoot hardware issues, and prepare equipment for laboratory, field, and flight operations. As our platforms mature, you’ll help improve build practices, documentation, configuration control, and installation repeatability while supporting cutting-edge defense and aerospace programs at the intersection of hardware, software, and real-world operations.
