Registered Nurse - Float Pool

The Staff RN Float is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Provides direct patient care across multiple units within credentialed competency levels, supporting coverage where demand exceeds core staffing. Practices as a fully accountable registered nurse in variable patient care units, is expected to orient quickly, seek information deliberately, and maintain the same level of care regardless of the setting. The Registered Nurse also directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing care.
