Medical Records Tech
The Medical Records Tech is responsible for the day-to-day operations of records support throughout the records warehouse. This may include compiling incoming records, verifying accuracy, sorting/coding according to file system, storing records in paper form, and input of information into computerized storage system. The Medical Records Tech will also assist in prepping and scanning; removing of staples, chart dividers, post it notes, taping down loose documents and counting of pages to be appropriately batched. Searching and investigating information in files, typing reports, applying labels and implementing filing system as necessary. Maintaining a safe working environment and optimizing space utilization.
