Advanced Pharmacy Tech

Assists the Pharmacist, under his or her supervision, in the daily operation of the Pharmacy. ● For inpatient areas, the Advanced Pharmacy Technician has completed all required competencies and has at least 2 years of experience in the respective area of pharmacy. The Advanced Pharmacy Technician (IV) is trained in intravenous and/or hazardous drug compounding and is regularly staffed as an IV admixture and/or hazardous drug admixture pharmacy technician. The Advanced Pharmacy Technician (operations) is trained in inventory management, ADC replenishment and maintenance and is regularly staffed in an operations role and can assist with technician training.
