Charging your car should feel as natural as charging your phone. That’s the future we’re building: a network of EV chargers where life happens. We don’t just install chargers. We accelerate sustainable mobility. We obsess over partnerships. We grow relentlessly : our network, our partners, and ourselves.

Our mission is as simple as it is ambitious: Accelerate Sustainable Mobility by investing in, installing, and operating EV charging stations through an innovative business model. We help businesses find the right charging solutions for their customers and make EV charging more accessible, reliable, and integrated into everyday life.

We are Partner Obsessed 🤝 — creating tailor-made solutions that better serve our partners and their customers. We’re driven by the challenge of making EV charging simpler and more readily available 💡. And we’re committed to growing relentlessly 📈 — our network, our partners’ businesses, and the professional development of our team

If you’re here, you’re probably not looking for “just a job.” Neither are we. 😎 We’re driven by impact and always looking for people who thrive on turning bold ideas into reality. If that sounds like you, you’ll feel at home here. We’re looking for people who see challenges as opportunities, thrive in fast-growing, high-energy environments, and want to shape the future of mobility, not just watch it unfold. At Powerdot, you’ll get freedom , ownership , and responsibility . The space to experiment. The chance to scale your ideas. And a team that’s always pushing the edge of what’s possible.

🚀 About this Role

As our Uptime Operations Performance Manager , you’ll own projects and processes that directly improve charger uptime and operational efficiency across all of Powerdot’s geographies. Working at the intersection of central operations and local field teams, you’ll diagnose underperformance, drive recovery initiatives, optimise ticket workflows, and build the data and reporting that turn operational problems into measurable improvements.

Your mission is to maximize network availability and operational performance by owning end-to-end improvement projects, surfacing the root causes behind downtime and ticket friction, and translating data into prioritized action. You’ll ensure that fixes aren’t just launched but actually land — with measured impact on uptime, resolution time, and revenue — while acting as the connective tissue between central teams and the field.

How You’ll Shape Our Story:

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Owning end-to-end uptime projects — leading initiatives that improve charger uptime across Portugal, France, Belgium, Spain, and Poland, from initial diagnosis through to measured impact.
  • Diagnosing underperforming sites and chargers — analysing sessions, revenue, and failure attempts to identify the locations and devices where performance is weakest, and converting findings into recovery plans.
  • Managing projects through to impact — defining scope, plans, milestones, and blockers, and following through until the expected outcome is achieved — not just until launch.
  • Owning delivery accountability — managing stakeholders and dependencies, and escalating clearly and early when progress stalls.
  • Analysing and optimising tickets — supporting the team in managing Sitetracker tickets, including resolution time, assignee workload, backlog, and recurring fault codes.
  • Identifying patterns and root causes — surfacing recurring error codes and repeat interventions at the same site, and turning them into concrete optimization opportunities.
  • Building ticket-level reporting — creating visibility into where the team loses time and proposing fixes around routing, priorities, and escalation rules.
  • Building and maintaining Metabase reporting — tracking uptime, sessions, revenue, failed attempts, and recovery SLAs through reliable dashboards and reports.
  • Producing performance summaries — preparing weekly and monthly performance reports for the team and leadership that translate numbers into prioritized actions.
  • Designing and simplifying processes — proposing and implementing improvements to operational processes with measurable efficiency gains.
  • Mapping and simplifying workflows — removing hand-off friction and standardising the way operational work gets done.
  • Maintaining process documentation — keeping SOPs current in Confluence and creating best-practice guides that field teams can actually follow.
  • Driving automations — applying a critical mindset to setting up automations that handle high-volume tasks and maintaining governance over how they run.
  • Bridging central and local teams — collaborating with field teams, suppliers, and other departments across PT/FR/BE/ES/PL to optimise processes and solve operational challenges.
  • Standardising escalation and communication — raising the quality of external communication with partners, landlords, and field contractors.

This Is About You, Not Us 🫵🏼:

  • 2–3 years of experience in a strategy or operations role, with exposure to EV charging, energy, field operations, or asset-heavy operations considered a plus.
  • Strong data skills — you’re comfortable with Metabase and Excel/Sheets and can build reports, dashboards, and ticket-level analysis end-to-end.
  • Structured problem-solving — you can break down complex operational issues and convert them into clear, actionable plans.
  • Solid project management fundamentals — you know how to scope, plan, track, and follow through on initiatives from start to finish.
  • Process design experience — you’re familiar with process-mapping, SOP design, and automation as levers for operational efficiency.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication — English is mandatory; Portuguese, French, or Spanish are a strong plus.
  • An ownership mindset — you analyse, then you drive to impact, rather than handing off the problem.
  • An energised and optimistic way of working — you bring momentum, clarity, and a constructive attitude to the team.
  • Cross-functional collaboration skills — you can work effectively across central and local teams and keep stakeholders aligned.

The Kind of Energy We’re Looking For:

  • We’re not into titles, egos, or corporate buzzwords. We’re into people who make things happen.
  • You lead and listen. You drive initiatives forward while staying close to the field teams and stakeholders who make them work.
  • You own your stuff. You don’t stop at diagnosis: you follow through until the impact is measured and the problem is actually solved.
  • You’re performance-minded. You understand that uptime, resolution time, and revenue are connected — and you know how to turn metrics into action.
  • You bring structure to complexity. You can manage multiple projects, workflows, and stakeholders without losing sight of the outcome.
  • You’ve got a green heartbeat. Sustainability isn’t just cool, it’s core. You care about building infrastructure that keeps electric mobility reliable and accessible.
  • You balance rigour with energy. You’re disciplined about process and data, but you bring optimism and momentum to the people around you.
  • You grow on purpose. You’re eager to learn, deepen your operational expertise, and help Powerdot improve how it runs across every market.
