Senior Project Manager Brand Experiences

Your mission OVAL’s strength lies in producing and delivering high-profile projects. The Senior Project Manager – Live Experiences takes the lead on these fantastic productions and is able to deliver complex projects independently.

You will be responsible for client management and business development, as well as the operational management of project teams for our clients’ B2B and B2C events. You will be the point of contact for all project partners involved. You will be present at the events and will also support our clients there.

You ride the waves of increased workload and, between those waves, maintain your balance and energy for the next projects on the horizon.

You draw energy from contributing ideas to the design of concepts and the development of scripts and plans. You know how to draw up plans and budgets, and you can advise clients on the possibilities within any budget in our industry. You keep a close eye on budgets and confidently communicate your ideas and visions regarding the course of events. Your creative spirit is supported by a strong in-house team and a robust external network that helps you bring your plans to fruition.

What are your responsibilities?

• You know the ins and outs of organising complex productions and events for various clients at different venues, and you manage your assigned projects from start to finish – from analysing the briefing to drawing up quotations, budget planning and production execution.
• You have experience in drawing up complex quotations, negotiating prices with suppliers and managing margins.
• You monitor the scope of the project at all times and communicate changes in a timely manner, whilst proactively taking the client’s expectations into account.
• You can effortlessly manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Not only do you work in accordance with the organisation’s procedures, but you also encourage others to ensure their working methods align with the ‘Way of Working’.
• You identify opportunities and act on them, whilst involving other team members in the process of taking independent action and capitalising on opportunities.
• You provide guidance and direction to the junior members of the team in a way that leads to optimal collective results.
• You investigate clients’ wishes and needs and ensure that others also remain alert to client needs. In this way, you contribute to increasing client satisfaction.
• You pick up on important information, both within and outside the organisation. You listen carefully, ask probing questions and help other team members to show an interest in ideas and opinions
• You present ideas and facts clearly, tailoring your presentation to the audience.
• You build up a network of contacts that prove useful in achieving project objectives and help colleagues to expand their networks and strengthen their relationships.

Your profile What sort of professional are you?

• You have more than 6 years’ experience in project management across various live event formats at an agency in the corporate sector.
• You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration or a similar event-related qualification.
• You are naturally curious and have an eye for detail.
• You have a critical eye and can maintain a broad overview.
• Proactive and enterprising: you’re always raring to go.
• You can delegate, communicate clearly and work well under pressure.
• You speak and write Dutch fluently and also have a good command of English.
• French is an advantage.
