Job description We are currently looking for an ambitious and passionate HR Operations Generalist to support the day-to-day people operations for Oppizi’s US and CA field teams. The role will take ownership of recruitment and onboarding for Brand Ambassadors (BAs), while also supporting the hiring and onboarding of Team Lead Ambassadors (TLAs) and City Managers (CMs).
The HR Operations Generalist works closely with the Operations team to ensure each market has the required staffing levels and that field team members receive timely onboarding and HR support.
This role addresses the current need for a dedicated HR resource to own recruitment pipelines, BA onboarding, and field-team HR queries.
Responsibilities
Recruitment & Hiring
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for Brand Ambassadors, Team Lead Ambassadors and City Managers
- Post jobs, source candidates and maintain active recruitment pipelines across US markets
- Screen candidates and coordinate interviews with the relevant Operations Managers
- Manage candidate communication throughout the recruitment process
- Work with Operations to understand weekly and upcoming staffing requirements
- Support recruitment for new market and campaign launches
- Maintain recruitment trackers and provide regular hiring updates to Operations
Onboarding & Team Administration
- Own and manage the end-to-end onboarding process for newly hired Brand Ambassadors (BAs)
- Ensure BAs complete all required documentation and onboarding steps before training and deployment
- Track onboarding progress and follow up with new hires to resolve outstanding requirements
- Coordinate with Operations to ensure new BAs are ready for training and deployment
- Respond to BA questions throughout the onboarding process and provide timely HR support
- Maintain accurate onboarding records and track the status of new hires
- Maintain accurate records of active, inactive and rehired field team members
- Support onboarding for TLAs and CMs as needed
- Work with Operations to identify BAs eligible for Team Lead opportunities
- Coordinate the administrative process for BA-to-TLA promotions
- Maintain visibility of the TLA pipeline across each market
- Operations will continue to own BA performance reviews and identify candidates for TL promotion, while HR supports the process and administration
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in HR, recruitment or people operations.
- Advanced english
- Experience with high-volume recruitment
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage recruitment across multiple cities simultaneously
- Comfortable handling payroll and employee-related inquiries
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience working with frontline, hourly or field-based teams is preferred
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and growing organization
- Able to work independently and take ownership of recruitment and onboarding processes
