Since 2016, we’ve been delivering what others only promise. Why settle for good enough if you can be up to NoGood?
We are looking for:
A Director, Client Growth & Revenue Ops to join our NYC team (hybrid), reporting to the Senior Director of Growth Marketing & Client Services. This is a newly created role for someone who can be the connective tissue between our strategist function and revenue. You’ll build and run the systems and rhythm that keep our client business healthy pricing and scoping, renewals, upsells, utilization, and retention while stepping directly into client conversations alongside Client Services leadership when it matters most. You’re a marketer and client partner first, who happens to be excellent at building the operational backbone underneath that work.
You have:
- Senior client or account management experience (senior manager, associate director, or director level) at an agency or startup
- Real marketing or marketing strategy depth you can hold your own in a client strategy conversation, not just report on one
- Ops experience where you built a pricing or scoping process rather than just following one
- A track record carrying a renewal and upsell number, or a book of business, directly or indirectly
- A systems and process mindset you live in the CRM and sheets, and you keep them clean
- Excellent communication skills equally credible with a client’s marketing lead and with internal leadership
- Familiarity with agency economics: utilization, blended rates, and scope-based vs. retainer pricing models
- Experience with HubSpot, ClickUp, or similar CRM/project management platforms
- Background in or exposure to digital, growth, or performance marketing agencies (a plus)
- Experience at a company that scaled meaningfully you know what breaks as a client roster grows and how to fix it (a plus)
You will do:
- Serve as a senior point of contact for clients on renewals, expansion, and scope grounded in the strategy and relationship, not just the paperwork
- Step in alongside the Senior Director of Client Services and CEO on key client matters, bringing both strategic and commercial perspective
- Partner with strategist and growth teams to set client engagements up for success from scoping through delivery
- Build and own the pricing and scoping process
- Run the renewal and upsell motion across the client portfolio, carrying (directly or indirectly) a renewal/upsell number
- Own utilization tracking and the retention CRM keeping it clean, current, and actually used
- Build the client health playbook: early warning signals for churn risk and expansion opportunity
- Draft and negotiate renewal amendments and scope changes, and standardize commercial agreements and templates to speed up deal velocity
- Flag commercial risk early scope creep, under-priced engagements, and terms that strain the relationship
- Design the workflows, tools (including AI-powered solutions), and reporting that let us add clients without proportional headcount growth and give leadership real visibility into portfolio health and capacity
