About the Job

We're seeking a detail-oriented Finance Manager with experience in financial planning, reporting, budgeting, and process improvement. The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive, and comfortable working closely with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head of Finance in managing the company's day-to-day finance operations and ensuring financial processes run smoothly.

• Lead the month-end closing process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

• Assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports, while monitoring performance and highlighting key variances.

• Review contracts and commercial agreements to identify financial risks and ensure alignment with company policies.

• Coordinate tax, compliance, audit, and regulatory activities with external advisors and internal stakeholders.

• Prepare financial analyses and reports to support business planning, operational decisions, and new initiatives.

• Lead or support finance-related projects, including process improvements, system implementations, and automation initiatives.

• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes, cost tracking, and reporting accuracy.

• Support the Head of Finance on strategic initiatives, ad hoc financial analyses, and other business priorities as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

• 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, or financial reporting.

• Experience supporting US-based finance operations, ideally gained at a Big Four accounting firm (Deloitte, PwC, EY, or KPMG).

• Experience managing the month-end closing process and preparing financial statements.

• Strong understanding of financial controls, compliance, and audit requirements.

• Tech-savvy finance professional with experience using accounting software and advanced Excel for reporting and analysis.

• Highly analytical with strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with changing priorities.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.

• CPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification is a plus.
