Warehouse & Hazardous Goods Coordinator (INTERNAL ONLY)
Diversity matters
We are building a brand that represents the people of the world. It’s what you do that counts, and we are always looking to expand perspectives and voices to shape our future.
We see you, we celebrate you, we want you!
Who we are You might know us as the inventors of the bath bomb, but there’s more to this great-smelling, partly employee-owned, family-run company than pioneering cosmetics. We believe our business should put more back into the world than it takes and demonstrate that capitalism can be a force for good.
The Living Wage Foundation’s statement 'a hard day's work deserves a fair day's pay' is one that we are proud to commit to in the UK. As an accredited Living Wage employer, we put our people first and fight cruel practices like animal testing, promote regeneration, and show that it is what’s inside that counts - whether that’s an ingredient in a product, or the minerals in a smartphone.

The Green Hub
The Green Hub is Lush’s internal repair, reuse and recycling plant responsible for the important work of processing all waste streams from the manufacturing sites, as well as the packaging returned by customers in our stores. As a goal, we aim to make our internal and customer packaging as circular as possible, making sure materials are recycled back into packaging (closed loop), or cleaned and reused.
The Green Hub attracts many visitors, including school groups, members of the local council and journalists to name but a few, in turn holding a professional manner and communicating confidently with the public is a must.
The Team
The Green Hub is a cross-functional team of 30 people facilitating essential waste management & recycling, sorting packaging returns from Retail, material processing including granulating PP and PET, providing a washing service for Manufacturing, processing product scrap (including donations and disposal), as well as running the shop, and facilitating events and tours. With this in mind, the Warehouse Coordinator plays a key role in coordinating all movement and storage of goods in the warehouse, ensuring incoming pallets are kept in a holding area, processed and then stored in the racking.
The Role
Reporting to the Green Hub Assistant Managers and the Wastewater & Environmental (WWE) Specialist, this role is critical to the safe and efficient operation of the Green Hub warehouse. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of goods-from receipt and storage to organisation and movement-ensuring all processes align with our high standards for safety and sustainability. Predominantly operating a forklift, you will manage both general inventory and hazardous waste streams, ensuring compliance and efficiency while maintaining a clean, well-organised workspace that supports our team’s cross-functional goals.
