Central Engineering Administrator Ashby-de-la-Zouch or Teesside (with travel required to both sites) Two-year FTC On-site

Join our snack-loving team

We're looking for an Administrator to join our Central Engineering team and support the delivery of key business activities and projects across KP Snacks. This role will act as a vital link between Finance, Project Coordination and a range of business functions, helping to keep projects organised, information accurate and stakeholders connected.

Who are we? We’re KP Snacks, part of the Intersnack family. Across more than 30 countries, over 15,000 of us work together to make the snacks people love – from Hula Hoops to McCoy’s. In the UK, we’re a team of around 2,400 colleagues, based across seven sites and our Slough HQ. We’re proud of our close-knit culture, where we speak up, celebrate differences and push boundaries together.

About the role

This is a varied and fast-paced role where you'll help keep multiple projects organised, ensuring key information is accurate, up to date and easily accessible. You'll be responsible for maintaining project trackers, preparing reports, supporting meetings, providing general administrative support to the Central Engineering team and helping project teams monitor progress against plans and budgets.

You'll work closely with colleagues across Engineering, Operations, Finance, IT and Project teams, building strong relationships and ensuring everyone has the information they need to make informed decisions.

This role would suit someone who is highly organised, enjoys working with data and spreadsheets, and has a keen eye for detail. You do not need an accounting background. We're looking for someone who is confident using Excel, comfortable working with numbers and able to manage information accurately.

What’s in it for you? We believe in rewarding our colleagues and helping them thrive. Here’s a flavour of what we offer:

  • Competitive annual salary and annual salary review
  • KP Pension Plan with up to 7% matched contributions
  • Annual bonus scheme
  • 25 days holiday, with the option to buy up to five additional days
  • Comprehensive healthcare support including Health Cash Plan, Digital GP and Employee Assistance Programme
  • KP4ME benefits platform with discounts, cashback and wellbeing support
  • Enhanced family-friendly policies to support colleagues at every stage of life

What will you be doing?

  • Maintaining project trackers and records

Keep project trackers, cost logs and supporting documentation accurate and up to date, ensuring information is easy to access and understand

  • Producing reports and project updates

Prepare regular reports for project teams and steering groups, highlighting progress, key activities and any areas requiring attention

  • Supporting project meetings

Attend project meetings, capture actions, update records and help ensure agreed actions are completed on time

  • Monitoring project spend and changes

Track project costs against budgets, monitor changes and flag any concerns or discrepancies to the relevant stakeholders

  • Supporting project governance and processes

Help ensure agreed project processes are followed, approvals are documented and information is maintained consistently across all projects
