Electrical Engineer/Automation Engineer

JOTIS S.A. is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer / Automation Engineer to join its team. The successful candidate will design, develop, and implement industrial automation solutions, supporting the improvement of production processes and equipment performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement automation solutions using PLCs and HMIs .
• Work on automation systems for production machinery built in-house, including packaging and filling machines.
• Upgrade existing machinery and automation systems to improve performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with international suppliers on the installation and integration of new machinery.
• Support production teams in troubleshooting and resolving electrical and automation issues.
• Maintain and improve production data collection systems to monitor equipment performance and key process parameters.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Maximum of 5 years of professional experience in electrical engineering and/or industrial automation
• Experience in PLC programming and HMI development.
• Knowledge of electrical schematics and automation principles.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (electrical, mechanical).
• Proficiency in English for communication with international suppliers.
• Eligible to work in Greece.
• Availability to work on a rotating shift schedule

Desired Qualifications:

• Knowledge of programming languages such as PHP and Java .
• Experience in database management, including MySQL and SQL .
