Data Analyst

Our client is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to transform complex datasets into actionable business insights. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL, PostgreSQL, and business intelligence tools, with the ability to analyze large volumes of data, identify trends, and support strategic decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, validate, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources.
• Write complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data efficiently.
• Utilize PostgreSQL to manage and analyze structured data.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations for stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into meaningful data insights and recommendations.
• Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities to improve operational and business performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand reporting needs and deliver data-driven solutions.
• Monitor data integrity and ensure accuracy across reporting systems.
• Support ad hoc reporting, analytics projects, and executive-level presentations as needed.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or similar analytics-focused role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and PostgreSQL .
• Experience working with Business Intelligence (BI) tools for data visualization and reporting.
• Proven ability to analyze complex datasets and present findings in a clear and actionable manner.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Experience creating reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical findings to non-technical audiences.
• Intermediate Excel user.
• Experience with Tableau.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Piano.io
• Experience working with large-scale databases and data warehousing environments.
• Knowledge of additional analytics and reporting tools.
• Experience supporting business stakeholders in marketing, media, or advertising environments. 
• Comfortable utilizing AI-powered tools such as Claude (or similar generative AI platforms) to enhance data analysis, research, reporting, workflow efficiency, and insight generation.
• Ability to effectively leverage AI tools while applying critical thinking, data validation, and sound analytical judgment.
