AI/ML Engineer - Predictive Analytics & Time-Series Forecasting

We are looking for an AI/ML Engineer to develop machine-learning solutions for anomaly detection, predictive analytics and time-series forecasting using operational and network data. The role combines ML development with practical software engineering, with emphasis on reliable, explainable and production-ready models.

Responsibilities

• Develop anomaly-detection and time-series forecasting models.
• Build KPI baselines and identify unusual system behaviour.
• Design training, validation and rolling-backtest methodologies.
• Evaluate forecast accuracy, model calibration, false positives and missed detections.
• Develop probabilistic forecasts and prediction intervals where appropriate.
• Integrate engineering rules and domain knowledge with ML results.
• Build reproducible training and inference pipelines and version models, features, datasets and configurations.
• Work closely with software engineers and domain experts.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or a related field.
• Strong Python skills and practical experience with pandas, NumPy and scikit-learn.
• Experience in time-series forecasting, anomaly detection or predictive modelling.
• Good understanding of ML training, validation, overfitting and data leakage.
• Experience developing maintainable, tested software using Git.
• Good written and spoken English.

Nice to Have

• XGBoost, LightGBM, LSTM or transformer-based forecasting.
• Probabilistic forecasting, quantile prediction and unsupervised anomaly detection.
• MLflow or similar model-management tools.
• Docker/Kubernetes and REST APIs.
• Telecommunications and network-analytics experience.
