Senior Engineering Professional
Hire Resolve is partnering with established and growing organisations across Australia to recruit experienced mid-senior to senior-level engineering professionals . These opportunities are suited to engineers with strong technical capability, proven project delivery experience, and the ability to operate effectively within regulated, safety-critical, and performance-driven environments.
This role is designed to encapsulate multiple engineering disciplines and may suit professionals with backgrounds in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, Industrial, Process, Manufacturing, Mining, or Project Engineering , across sectors such as infrastructure, resources, energy, construction, manufacturing, and utilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead or contribute to engineering projects from concept, design, and development through to execution and commissioning
- Apply advanced engineering principles to solve complex technical and operational challenges
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including project managers, site teams, contractors, consultants, and clients
- Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, statutory regulations, and WHS requirements
- Review and approve engineering drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical documentation
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, efficiency, reliability, and cost performance
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to junior engineers and technical staff
- Support project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management activities
- Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and regulatory authorities as required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, Industrial, or related discipline)
- 7–15+ years of relevant engineering experience , depending on discipline and role scope
- Proven experience working on complex engineering projects within infrastructure, mining, energy, construction, manufacturing, or industrial environments
- Strong technical expertise within your engineering discipline
- Familiarity with Australian Standards and regulatory frameworks
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams
- Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) or RPEQ registration is advantageous (role-dependent)
- Proficiency with relevant engineering software, tools, and systems
