Taqueria Shift Leader

¡Hola! Are you looking for a new challenge in a fun and ambitious team? Do you want to help us raise the bar for authentic Mexican food in Copenhagen and create great service experiences ? Do you want to take your career in hospitality to the next level?

Hija de Sanchez is the taqueria-arm of Sanchez – a group of contemporary Mexican restaurants concepts run by Rosio Sanchez, former Head of Pastry and R&D at noma. We’re looking for fun people with an interest in Mexican food to join our taqueria teams.

You will be…

… Prepping and serving tacos and beyond (we’ll teach you this, no worries)

… Advising guests on menu items (and the meaning of life if you feel like it)

… Maintaining the taquerias’ appearance and helping ensure the quality of every dish served

... Leading by example, guiding the colleagues working with you through a busy shift

... A natural and willing problem solver (a yes mentality!)

... Empathetic and a humble servant to your team and their needs

... A diligent and patient trainer

… Ensuring a world-class service level

… Elevating guest experiences

… Attending weekend staff drinks and staff parties (arguably one of the most important tasks)

We will provide…

… A fun and ambitious multilingual team (¿Cómo estás? / How are you? / Hvordan går det?)

… Competitive pay (on a per-hour basis)

… Flexible work schedule

… Staff food and beverages during the workday

… Opportunities to gain management experience if you are a high performer

… Awesome perks including discounts at POPL, Barr, Hart Bageri and noma

You are probably…

… Curious about Mexican food and culture

… A team player

… Motivated by happy guests

… Punctual and enjoy working fast in a fast paced environment

... Happy to learn by doing and using your initiative

We look forward to welcoming you to our team!
