Administrative Assistant-Construction
Location: Wilmington, DE (Onsite) Salary: $70,000 – $80,000
Overview
We are seeking a highly organized Administrative Assistant to provide onsite support to a project team in Wilmington, DE. This role will serve as the primary administrative resource for the project, supporting daily operations, coordinating meetings, managing documentation, and ensuring efficient communication among team members and consultants. Construction administration experience is preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the project team and leadership
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and capture meeting minutes
- Manage project documentation and maintain organized filing systems
- Support PM Web and other project management platforms, including document tracking and updates
- Coordinate with consultants, vendors, and project stakeholders
- Prepare presentations, reports, and other project-related materials
- Track action items and assist with follow-up activities
- Manage calendars, correspondence, and other day-to-day administrative functions
- Assist with special projects and additional administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
- 2+ years of administrative support experience, preferably within construction, engineering, or a project-based environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experience with PM Web or other project management/document management systems preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills
