Location: Louisiana Setting: Remote / Telehealth Position: Full-Time Salary: $115,000–$120,000 per year Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Job Summary
The LPC will work with Louisiana clients who are seeking help with anxiety, depression, stress, adjustment concerns, relationship difficulties, and other mental health needs. The counselor will be responsible for guiding therapy from the first appointment forward, helping clients understand what is affecting them and identifying practical areas to work on during treatment. This role requires good clinical judgment, clear communication, and the ability to manage cases independently in a remote setting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct individual counseling sessions through telehealth
- Complete intake interviews and review relevant client history
- Identify the concerns that should be addressed during therapy
- Help clients establish clear and realistic treatment goals
- Maintain progress notes and other required clinical records
- Recognize changes that may require a different approach or additional services
- Follow Louisiana licensing, confidentiality, and professional standards
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Counseling or a related mental health field
- Active LPC license in Louisiana
- Experience providing counseling services in a clinical or telehealth setting
- Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to manage a full-time caseload independently
