Responsibilities

• Lead and manage electrical substation projects from design through to testing and commissioning.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Coordinate with TB, consultants, and contractors to secure technical and regulatory approvals.
• Ensure compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Prepare detailed progress reports, documentation, and presentations for management and clients.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance to project teams and subcontractors.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while maintaining high safety and quality assurance standards.

Must Have

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 9-10 years of experience managing HV / TB substation projects.
• Proven leadership, planning, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong understanding of project execution, testing, and commissioning.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and decision-making skills.
• Based in Damansara Heights, Kuala Lumpur.

Nice to Have

• Experience managing large EPC or utility-based substation projects.
• Familiarity with TNB standards, grid interconnection, and power system safety.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification.

Location

Level

• Senior-level role with progression toward Project Director / Operations Lead.
