Data Engineer

Forterro is building the next generation of its enterprise data platform, and we're looking for a hands-on Data Engineer to help us do it.

We're moving away from our existing SQL Server and Azure Data Factory architecture and building a new centralised data platform in Databricks . You'll join at an important point in that journey, helping us ingest, transform and structure data from across Forterro and create reliable data pipelines that support reporting, analytics and wider business use cases.

This isn't a traditional BI or reporting role. We're looking for someone who is comfortable working directly in Databricks, can code confidently in SQL and Python, and has practical experience building and working with data pipelines.

You'll work closely with colleagues across IT, Data and the wider business, with a particular focus on data originating from enterprise systems such as NetSuite and Salesforce. Previous exposure to financial/ERP or CRM data would therefore be particularly useful.
