Health Unit Coordinator

The Mother Baby Unit serves a wide variety of patient populations. Our Midwifery group is the only provider of hospital water birth in Portland. Specialists in the OHSU Perinatal Center provide comprehensive care and consultation for women with high-risk pregnancies. Our nurses also care for general OB patients. Supporting moms and babies with breastfeeding is important to our nurses. Many of our nurses are Certified Lactation Consultants. Additionally, the OHSU Lactation Service provides inpatient and outpatient support for patients on the Mother Baby Unit as well as in the Doernbecher Children's Hospital.
