Join our team and play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our finance function. We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Accounts Officer to support accounting operations, financial reporting, taxation compliance, and cash management while contributing to the continuous improvement of departmental processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage accounting records and ensure accurate bookkeeping and financial reporting.
  • Handle taxation matters, including VAT compliance, statutory filings, and communication with local authorities.
  • Monitor cash flow and follow up on accounts receivable.
  • Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, debtors, and creditors.
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors and support audit requirements.
  • Assist in the implementation of projects, process improvements, and operational initiatives.
  • Support management in achieving company objectives and maintaining compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Identify operational issues and recommend improvements for the Accounts Department.

Requirements

Education and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Accounting or equivalent qualification

Work Experience:

  • 4 - 6 years’ experience in an accounts-related environment

Job-Specifics:

  • Knowledge of the accounting processes and procedures
  • Attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Fluency in English
  • PC literacy
