Mechanical Technician - Rotation & Static Equipments

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician to support mechanical maintenance activities within a petrochemical environment .

Position Overview

The Mechanical Technician will be responsible for supporting Mechanical Engineers and carrying out technical maintenance activities on rotating and static equipment , ensuring equipment and mechanical operations are maintained to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Mechanical Engineers in the design and maintenance of machinery, products, and equipment .
• Inspect mechanical equipment and operating systems and carry out necessary corrections and adjustments .
• Support maintenance activities for rotating and static equipment .
• Ensure mechanical operations, standards, and controls are maintained at a high level of quality .
• Provide technical support and guidance to lower-level technicians .
• Identify and report mechanical equipment issues and support corrective maintenance activities.
• Work closely with Mechanical Engineers and maintenance teams to ensure reliable equipment operation.

Requirements

Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Mechanical discipline .

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience .

Strong hands-on experience maintaining rotating and static equipment .

Experience in the petrochemical industry is required .

Good technical knowledge of mechanical maintenance and equipment.

Ability to provide technical support to junior/lower-level technicians.

Strong troubleshooting, teamwork, and communication skills.
