UI/UX Product Designer

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a UI/UX Product Designer to play a key role in the success of our products by designing an experience that is intuitive and creates a connection with users. You will design end-to-end user experiences and optimize existing user interfaces. Success in this role will require you to be comfortable creating early prototypes and rapidly iterating on them through implementation, contributing to product style guides at the same time.

Requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Help the UI/UX design process for the Equus Platform, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Collaborate and be embedded with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and user needs.
• Work closely with the development team to implement designs and ensure a high-quality user experience.
• Conduct user research, create wireframes, prototypes, and design mockups.
• Translate high-level requirements and prototypes into user flows, user stories, and elegant interactions.
• Conduct usability testing and iterate on designs based on feedback.
• Stay up to date with the latest UI/UX design trends and best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2 + years of experience designing a complex system/platform and a strong portfolio demonstrating experience in UI/UX design for web-based applications.
• Proven experience designing web and mobile applications, with a focus on SaaS platforms or collaboration tools.
• Proficiency in design software such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools
• Experience with wireframing, prototyping, and user testing tools
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work within a legacy solution, define a style guide for the application, and make incremental improvements one feature at a time.
• Comfortable working both independently and in the context of a tight-knit development team.
• Ability to push forward multiple features and projects simultaneously.
