Duties & Role:

• ESOC Engineer, Enterprise Service Operations Centre Level 2 network support;
• Manage daily network operations, ticketing, incidents, work orders, changes and problem management.
• Network Optimization, capacity planning, upgrades, and lifecycle activities across enterprise environments;
• Configure, optimize, and troubleshoot routing and switching protocols including BGP, OSPF, and STP;
• Monitor network health using CA Spectrum and Splunk and other monitoring platforms; create dashboards, alerts, and operational reports;
• Analyze logs and telemetry data to proactively identify risks, incidents, and performance issues;
• Improve operational efficiency through automation of configuration management, backups, and change validation;
• Utilize network monitoring tools to track availability, latency, bandwidth, and device health;
• Lead incident response for critical outages, coordinate stakeholders, and restore services within SLA targets;
• Serve as the senior technical escalation point for complex network issues and strategic initiatives;
• Maintain accurate documentation, standards, and operational procedures for the network environment;

Specific Working Conditions: Some work outside normal office hours may be required.

Requirements

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

• The candidate must have a currently active NATO SECRET security clearance
• Minimum CCNP certification (Enterprise or equivalent advanced networking certification).
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering and operations.
• Strong expertise in routing and switching (BGP, OSPF, STP).
• Experience with Splunk for monitoring, log analysis, troubleshooting, dashboards, and alerting.
• Hands-on knowledge of network monitoring tools.
• Experience with incident management, root cause analysis, and major outage resolution.
