About the role

As Marketing Director, you will own Empatica's marketing strategy end to end, with a strong focus on growth and demand generation in the US market. In addition, working together with other members from the Marketing Team you will be:

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies - covering both organic and paid initiatives.
  • Owning the demand generation engine end to end - driving lead generation, ABM initiatives, lifecycle marketing and nurture programs across the funnel, from first touch to conversion.
  • Building the organic growth engine across SEO, content, and thought leadership, turning clinical evidence into content that earns trust with clinicians, patients, and pharma partners.
  • Overseeing the marketing technology stack and website performance - ensuring the team drives continuous conversion rate optimization (CRO), SEO, and effective use of marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Pardot) to scale acquisition efficiently.
  • Managing market research collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data.
  • Overseeing team members and ensuring their objectives are reached.
  • Working closely with the Product team to produce marketing materials and programs.
  • Undertaking continuous analysis of the competitive environment and consumer trends.
  • Working closely with the Director of Communications to strengthen the company’s market presence.
  • Establishing and maintaining automated, accurate reporting of marketing KPIs, partnering with Business Operations to ensure data-driven decision-making across the team.

Requirements

Must have:

  • Solid knowledge of the digital health, medtech, or healthcare wearables industry
  • Deep understanding of the US healthcare market, including buyer dynamics, reimbursement and payer considerations, and relevant marketing compliance (e.g., FDA promotional rules, HIPAA)
  • Proven track record building organic growth engines across SEO, content, and thought leadership, ideally in a clinical or regulated setting
  • Ability to turn clinical evidence and published research into content that earns trust with clinicians, patients, and pharma partners
  • 8+ years of marketing experience, including 3+ years in a managerial role
  • Proven expertise in growth marketing (paid or organic), with a track record of scaling acquisition and improving unit economics
  • Hands-on or leadership experience with demand generation tactics - lead generation, lead scoring/nurturing, ABM, and lifecycle marketing automation
  • Strong analytical skills: comfortable working with data to measure performance
